AT THE END OF TWELVETH MONTH

SUNDAY 29TH DECEMBER, 2019.
Bible Reading: Psalm 105: 1 - 2

Everything that has a beginning must have a end. There is an end to a day, a week (weekend), a month and to a year. By the special grace of Almighty God, today 29th December, 2019 is the last Sunday in 2019. There is an end to any position. There is an end to that situation you are in that is not making you happy. It is always good when you appraise yourself. In business, you do stock taking so it is also good to appraise ones life.
Let us examine three personalities in the Bible that appraised themselves.

1. Hannah: She was married for many years with no child. Each year she go to Shiloh and pray year in year out. She was never discouraged even at the point of molestation from her husband wife. When she got pregnant she appraised her life after given birth (1 Samuel 2: 1 -10). She returned all Glory back to God.
 *If you can think deep and phantom what God has done, song of praise will come out of your mouth.*

2. David also appraised himself and attributes all Glory to God. 2 Samuel 7: 19.
He glorify God.

3. King Nebuchadnezer: Daniel 4:19 - 31, he appraised everything also at the end of 12th month, he saw promotions, answer prayers, children, everything. But,he beat his chest and say "this can only be me".
It is only mercy of God that distinguish you from those who has achieved nothing. See God behing your achievements and attainments then thank him. Do not let your life be like that of Nebuchadnezar. Programme your life towarss that of Hannah and David. Examine your life at the end of the month, re-adjust where necessary. Before you get cleared from this earth, humble yourself and praise God. No matter how rich you are, your effort or money can not take you to sleep amd wake up. It is God that take you to sleep amd wake you up.
Also, examining yoir relationship with God. How many Sunday service, Bible study and prayer meetings did you attend this year?

If God will mark inequity, how many of us can stand.
We only enjoy the mercy of God
