OVERCOMING THE YOKE OF STAGNATION & DELAY

Text: Ezekiel 12: 23 - 28

A yoke is something that makes life hard and unpleasant. Those that rare goats in the villages do put a triangular object in their neck just to reduce its speed for them not to run away. The object even sometimes made it difficult for the goats to feed.
Stagnation is when things are at STAND STILL.
Delay is when things that abound to happen is not happening as it should.
Stagnation is when you remain at the same spot. There is danger in stagnation.
When life is stagnant it affects so many things.
Most of the challenges we face in life are Spiritual yoke.

 PROPHESY; Receive power to move forward now in the name of Jesus.

So many promises of God are lingering because of some factors.

FACTORS THAT DELAYED OR STAGNATED GOD'S PROMISES

1. Sin
Genesis 20: 18;

"For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife."

Isaiah 1: 15

"And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood."

Sin causes stagnation and delay.

2. Adversaries or forces of wickedness Daniel 10: 12 - 13,

"10:12 

Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I come for thy words.  

10:13 

But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia."

Ezra 4: 1-5,

"4:1 

Now when the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity built the temple unto the LORD God of Israel;  

4:2 

Then they came to Zerubbabel, and to the chief of the fathers, and said unto them, Let us build with you: for we seek your God, as ye do; and we do sacrifice unto him since the days of Esarhaddon king of Assur, which brought us up hither.

4:3 

But Zerubbabel, and Jeshua, and the rest of the chief of the fathers of Israel, said unto them, Ye have nothing to do with us to build a house unto our God; but we ourselves together will build unto the LORD God of Israel, as king Cyrus the king of Persia hath commanded us.  

4:4

Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building,  

4:5 

And hircounselorsors against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia."

Ezra 4:23 - 24

"4:23 

Now when the copy of king Artaxerxes' letter was read before Rehum, and Shimshai the scribe, and their companions, they went up in haste to Jerusalem unto the Jews, and made them cease by force and power.  

4:24 

Then ceased the work of the house of God which is at Jerusalem. So it ceased unto the second year of the reign of Darius king of Persia."

3. Manipulations
Romans 1: 13

"Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles."

1Thessalonians 2: 18

"Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul, once and again; but Satan hindered us."

TO OVERCOME YOKE OF STAGNATION & DELAY 

1. Know God
"He knoweth them that are His"
2 Timothy 2: 19

2. Sow the word of God into your life

3. Put your confidence in Christ Jesus  Hebrews 10; 35 -38

4. Be ready to fight the stagnation 1 Chronicle 4: 9- 10 (Jabez resisted stagnation)
"Until you address failure, you can't arrest it"
5. Pray for everyone God is using for you Philippians 2; 25-27
In every situation be ready to thank God. On a daily basis keep saying THANK YOU, LORD.

PRAYER POINTS 
1. Father, thank you for everything.
2. Father, please bless my benefactor and use him to bless me.

ITS TIME TO SAY YES TO JESUS

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your life? That is; are you BORN AGAIN? If not please pray this prayer.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from Satan to serve the living God today. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Now I am Born Again".
