TERMINATING THE TERMINATOR

Text: Exodus 14: 5 - 12

To terminate means to end something, to dismiss, to stop, to make something to cease.
Whatever that want to terminate your life, business, marriage etc is a terminator.
PRAYER: Every Terminator in your life shall be terminated today in Jesus name.
Stagnation, Barreness, Failure and Sin are Terminators.
The children of Isreal left Egypt going to Canaan which God has promised them. They were very Happy while going that they are free from 400 years bondage until they got to Red sea. When they got to the Red sea they started crying.
PRAYER: Whatever that is making you to cry or making you to be sad will be terminated today today in Jesus name.
Everything that wants to terminate your life will depart from you today.
John 5 gave an account a man who have been sick for 38 years and sat by the pool of Bethesda. Sickness terminated him for 38years. Sickness destroyed the youthfulness but one day Jesus Christ came to his rescue.
PRAYER: Whatever that is putting you on the same spot will be destroyed today in the name of Jesus.
Genesis 20 gave an account of how God shut the womb of all the women in Abimelech dynasty because a man among them took the wife of a Prophet (Abraham) whom God really Loved. God became angry.
In verse 19, God opened his eyes and told him to return the wife and to also call Abraham to pray for him.
Sin is a terminator. The cause of the barreness among them is a Sin.
● Red Sea stood as a Terminator to the Isrealite.
● Sickness stood as a terminator to the man beside the pool of Bethesda.
● Sin stood as a Terminator to Abimelech family.
Debt or Poverty can also be a terminator.
2 Kings 4 gave an account of a woman whose husband indebted to people and in the process dead. Those whose husband was owing came to her to ask for their money or the two sons to follow them to serve what will be commisirute with thier money.
I have seen barreness terminating a marriage.
2 Kings 6: 1 - 7

"6:1

And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.

6:2

Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.

6:3

And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go.

6:4

So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.

6:5

But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was borrowed.

6:6

And the man of God said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim.

6:7

Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it."

This place gave an account of Son's of Prophet went to cut the tree, as they were cutting the tree the axe head fell into the river (Perhaps he borrowed the axe and was just starting the cutting)
PRAYER: Whatever that is making life unbearable or uncomfortable shall be terminated in Jesus Name.

HOW DO I TERMINATE THE TERMINATOR
1. Be connected to God
John 15: 5

"I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing."

You need God to be able to terminate the terminator in your life. You must have personal relationship with God. Until you identify with God, you are wasting your time.
Mattew 7: 21

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven."

2. Seek God above everything. Where is God on your list? Start to honour God if you want to terminate the terminator.

3. Use your Authority
Luke 10: 19

"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

How do you use your authority?
Ecc 8: 4

"Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou?"

There is power when you declare the word of God without doubt. Use your power. The rod in his Moses hand symbolises the Power of God.
In Acts 19: 11 - 12

"19:11

And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:

19:12

So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them."

we have an account of how an handkerchief was used to heal the sick.
Given is an authority that you can also used to terminate the terminator.


ITS TIME TO SAY YES TO JESUS

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your life? That is; are you BORN AGAIN? If not please pray this prayer.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from Satan to serve the living God today. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Now I am Born Again".
