Sub-Theme: THE WORD OF GOD AS A SPIRIT AND AS A LIVING SEED

Text: John 6: 59 - 63

"Until you have the understanding of how the word of God works, it will not profit you"
Until you have the understanding of how it works, it will appear like Greek to you when you are reading it.

Acts 8: 30 - 31

"8:30

And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Isaiah, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest?

8:31

And he said, How can I, except some man guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him."

"if you don't have the understanding of a thing, you will suffer frustration"
"Work out your own salvation with fear and with a tremble," says the Bible.
You have to work out the words of God. In the last teaching (Last week) we were made to understand that the word of God is a seed.
Luke 8: 11

"Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God."

Not until you sew a seed, it can't germinate and if it does not germinate, you can't harvest.
For the word to produce, it must be planted in good soil. The word of God is a Spirit and a Living seed.
Life is a period when someone is alive.
Hebrews 4: 12

"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."

Because the word of God is alive and a living seed that is why it can germinate.
Behind every happenings, there is a spirit responsible.
Luke 13:11

"And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself."

When you are sick, there is a spirit behind it and when you want to address it you address it with the name.

Spirit of Anger, Spirit of Drunkness, Spirit of Barrenness, etc

Mark 9:17

"And one of the multitudes answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;"

2 Chronicles 18:21

"And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And the LORD said, Thou shalt entice him, and thou shalt also prevail: go out and do even so."

Ephesians 2:2

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:"

Ephesians 6:12

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Hosea 4:12

"My people ask counsel at their stocks, and their staff declareth unto them: for the spirit of whoredoms hath caused them to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God."

 When you combine the spirit behind the word with the seed it becomes a powerful solution.

Genesis 2:7

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul."

You have to have an understanding of the seed you are sewing. The word of God is alive, when you plant it (You plant it through confession/speaking out) you will harvest it.
"What people say about you or to you is not what makes you, what makes you is what you said about yourself"
Locate where the healing to your situation is in the Bible and Proclaim it (sew it) regardless of the pains you will harvest your healing.
Speak the word of God to your marriage, Health, Work/Business, etc
In the Bible, a combination of the word and the life entered a dry bone and it rose up (Read Ezekiel 37: 1 - 7)
There is a formation process in every achievements or attainment.
"If you don't Prophesy what is commanded nothing will happen"
Every word that is commanded has a backing of God to be fulfilled.
Isaiah 55: 10 - 11

"55:10

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

The word of God is a living seed with the backing of God to reproduce. People believe so much in the happenings around than the word of God.
The word of God is life and solution to every challenge.

ITS TIME TO SAY YES TO JESUS

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your life? That is; are you BORN AGAIN? If not please pray this prayer.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from Satan to serve the living God today. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Now I am Born Again".,
