UNLOCKING THE BLESSINGS OF GOD

Text: Act 5: 1 - 10

To unlock means to open. And to open means that something is been locked.
To unlock whatever that is locked, you need a key or code or password.
The blessings of God are free in terms of availability but requires skills in possession.
To lock something is to prevent anyone access to that thing.
The Bible tells us that Every of the things God coded are misery.
Mark 4:11

"And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:"

Revelation 3: 7

"And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;"

When God close, no one can open and when  he openeth no one can close.

CODE, PASSWORD OR KEY THAT CAN UNLOCK BLESSING

1. Obedience: It is one of the principal keys that can unlock the Blessings of God.
John 14: 15

"If ye love me, keep my commandments."

John:14:15
Obedience means doing always what you are told to do. Obedience Though have cost (price), the price may not always mean money but it must cost yo something.

COST OR PRICE OF OBEDIENCE

1. It must be Total: Half of obedience is not obedience at all But disobedience.
Malachi 3: 10- 11

"3:10

Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

3:11.

And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts."

When God tells you to do a thing, do it wholeheartedly.
2. It must be done Promptly (Now):
Psalm 119: 60

"I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments."

Genesis 12 : 1-4
Every instructions/promise of God carries blessing but the blessings will not manifest until you obey. There are some blessings you can not get through prayer alone but with outright obedience to God's instruction.
Obedience must be done now and totally.
Exodus 22:29

"Thou shalt not delay to offer the first of thy ripe fruits, and of thy liquors: the firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me."

Many of us are not blessed because we do things when convenient for us. Obeying God is not when convenient but when commanded.
When God instruct you to do anything, obey totally and promptly.
It requires Grace to be obedient to God.
3. It must be done willingly
Exodus 25:2

"Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering."

God sees ahead and know what's ahead.
4. It must be done with Joy.
1 Chronicle 29:14

"But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee."

You can't obey God without Loving him.
Obedience is making God a Priority.


ITS TIME TO SAY YES TO JESUS

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your life? That is; are you BORN AGAIN? If not please pray this prayer.

• "Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from Satan to serve the living God today. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Now I am Born Again".
