ACCEPTABLE SERVICE

Text: 1 Chronicles 29: 1- 10

     It is not every service or work rendered unto God that is acceptable. God is not a taskmaster and he never placed any burden on us but He requested we serve Him with a good heart. Serve God with your Best.

     Service is very crucial if you want to be Bless by God. When you are serving God,you are not permitted to die young.
"A man that is in the center of God's will is unkillable until God id did with the man"
David was a man in God's heart, this made every attempt of Saul frustrated.
In the church today, 90 percent of the congregation are after God's hand and not after God's heart.
There are certain things needed if our service will be acceptable unto God. Sometimes you can do a good thing but not the right thing.

 WHAT DETERMINES THE ACCEPTABILITY OF YOUR SERVICE

1. You as an Individual must first be accepted to God before your service(s) can be acceptable.
Luke 9: 57 - 60.
God must first accept you as an individual before your offering can be acceptable unto Him.

2. Your service unto God must be done out of a perfect Heart.
1 Chronicles 29: 9,
2 Chronicles 25: 1-2.
The man did what was right for twenty-nine (29) years but not with a perfect heart. The motive behind what you do matters.

3. The Service must be done willingly.
Exodus 25: 2
God told them to bring something for Him from what He has blessed them with. He will accept it from those that did that willingly.

4. Service must be done Faithfully.
1 Corinthians 4: 2
Faithfulness is handling little has been much; it is handling what belongs to others as you will do your own.
Faithfulness is the key to Favour

5. Service to God must be done with Joy.
The gladness of heart is highly required, Deuteronomy 28: 47-48. Whatever you found yourself doing for God, do it with Joy. What you do is impacting unto the people.
Service is a pathway to Honour. Service opens the door of Greatness unto you.

6. Service must be done continually.
Act 2: 42, Luke 22: 30.

7. Service must be done Righteously.
Isaiah 52: 11, Matt 6: 33.
Any service(s) that is done without the above mentioned is a wasted Service.

ITS TIME TO SAY YES TO JESUS

Have you ever asked Jesus to come into your life? That is; are you BORN AGAIN? If not please pray this prayer.

"Lord Jesus, I come to you today, I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from Satan to serve the living God today. Lord Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and savior. Thank you, Jesus, for saving me. Now I am Born Again".
